
Corinne Henderson

Corinne is a respected leader in mental health policy and systems reform, with more than two decades’ experience influencing sector capacity building and best practice in the mental health community-managed sector. As Director, Policy and Systems Reform at the Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) Corinne provides legislative and strategic advice to strengthen outcomes for people living with mental health and co-existing challenges. Corinne has a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Masters in Art and Design. She practiced clinically in community-based services and in private practice until 2020.
Since joining MHCC in 2003, Corinne has led many capacity-building initiatives and translational research collaborations with member organisations, government departments, academia, and other peak bodies.
Corinne was a Member of the NSW Mental Health Review Tribunal for 14 years until 2024 and currently serves as an Advisory Board Member on the NSW Ageing and Disability Commission. She is also a Board Member of the Community Restorative Centre the leading community provider of support services to people affected by the criminal justice system in NSW.
Corinne’s contribution is widely recognised for bridging policy and practice reform - bringing co-design, compassion and strategic insight to every facet of her work.
